Emmit - One Month

So Emmit is growing up so fast. I know I say that ever time but he really has. He loves his daddy so much he is always looking for him in the morning. After I get him out of his bed and put him down he goes to the front door and he nocks on the door and goes daddy daddy. It is so sweet. It make me smile. I have Mike got get him from his nap so he gets to see him right away.

He is also learning a little ASL not because I am really big on him learning it, I just do not like him screaming for every thing. He knows how to sign more and thank you. He also knows now how to get up and down off the couch. Oh the best thing is he is off the bottle. I think it was my problem more then it was Emmits. If I knew all it took was to put then out of reach he would have been done with them at one. He is just a sweet joy in my life and I love him more then any thing.

One Month
So it has been one month and I am down to 132 pounds. Last week I had a bad week but I think I am back on track. It is the hardest on Thursday - Sunday. I get half way through the week and I just start to eating real bad and then I start telling
myself what is the point. Then it starts all over again on Monday. So by Thursday I need to think of some thing to motivate me to get to Sunday. I am getting were I want I am learning how to eat better and staying health. I know I will get even healthier with every work out.

Three weeks / more

Things here are little hard I am working out good it is just food. I love junky food. So the pounds I lost came all right back. It is ok it kick me into work harder more. So my food will be fruits and veggies from now on.

Emmit has Five teeth now. It is crazy how much he has grown up. I love him so much. Mike is doing good in school. It does not seem that bad so far, he is home every day by 2 and then work at 5 which is good for me because that is Emmits nap time. So Mike takes a nap and Emmit takes a nap and I go do what I need to get done. It is Good timing for all of us. I love my two men in my life.

Two weeks and more

It has been two weeks and I am done to 136, 4 pounds. I am doing P90X with my husband and running when I can. It is hard to keep on track with the diet. I love snacking, anything and every thing. I am still working on that apart of being healthy. Beside that I feel so much different now. It is so weird how much better I feel about myself, I just feel well more healthy.
Beside working out, life is great mike has one more week before school is back in. I love spending this time with him and my son. Emmit is one years old, I can not believe it still. He is walking and running and climbing things, we had to put locks on all the the doors and any where we are he wants to be. I love him so much and he is such a great joy to my life. I am so thankful that I get to raise him and to be a mother to him. I do believe there is nothing greater in life then to be a parent.


I mean look at this kid how can you not love him. He say thanks you all the time it is so great. Ok I do not really think he knows what it means but it makes me feel like I am doing some thing right. I love my little family.

Emmit's Birthday.

140lbs

I am writing this blog today to hold myself accountable. I was 165lbs when I had Emmit and by June I was 128lbs now I am 139lbs.
I am ashamed of myself, so I am going to now make it down to 125 by December 25th. I plan to lose 10lbs a month. I will blog every 2 weeks, to keep me on track. If any one wants to join me let me know it is easier with some one.
The reason is to be healthy for me and my son, to be able to run around with him.

Work/Headache

Avis
I got a job!!!! It is great, I am working with Melissa (my sister in law) well not really working with her now but she trained me. It is nice because me and Melissa are going to share days and some days she is going to watch Emmit and I will watch Kennady. So far it is a little crazy the first day I was by myself I called Melissa 12 times, really I looked it up on my phone after work and it was 12 times. It is ok because this last time I only called 4 times. I tell people it is the computer lol and so far no one has gone crazy on me. I hope for me and Melissa that I get it down.
This computer looks a little like the one at Avis but with no mouse and no middle part.


Headache
So yesterday, I had a killer headache. It was so bad that I had numbing in my right arm and was talking funny and could not remember some things. It scared me really bad good thing I had mike there and he was great through the whole thing, told me what I should do. The next day he said "Clacie you scared me." I LOVE HIM!!! I am fine now and mike thinks it was because I was dehydrated. I am good now and we are watching things so that nothing happens.

7 months

Emmit is 7 months old it is so crazy how time goes by. Emmit is a very good baby boy
Things he loves
1. People/people watching, He loves being around people and watching them. When he goes to the day care at the YMCA they say he just sits and watches the little kids around him play. If anyone wants to hold him that is ok with him. It is a little sad happy for me because I always want him to want me but at the same time mommy needs a break sometimes.
2. Playing peek a boo, It is so funny every time you play it with him and you come out from hiding he gets scared and then he laughs.
3. Sweet potatoes, he eats now but not only really sweet potatoes.
4. Mommy and Daddy more like mommy for feeding daddy for play time. Very time Emmit sees mike he smile and kicks his legs really fast.
5. Love loves music mostly church music you turn it on in the car and he will fall asleep.
Things he can do
1. D’s Emmit says DA DA DA DA DA DA all the time.
2. Sits on his own
3. Eat baby food
4. Roll roll and roll, I do not think he knows how to get around with the rolling yet but if you put him on his back and nothing is around him he will roll back and forth.
5. Sometimes he holds his bottle when laid down on his back.

Things he hates
1. Sitting for a long long time.
2. Naps, he fights sleeping, it is so cute.

He is growing up so fast. I can’t believe it. I know I say this all the time but it is true. One day he is my new born baby boy and the next week he can sit and is eating baby food and sitting in a face forward car seat.
